Following Arsenal unexpected defeat to Aston Villa at Emirate Stadium, a Gunners fan has demanded that Mikel Arteta be sacked as coach.

The fan went on to say that one of Max Allegri or Mauricio Pochettino should be sign as the new coach.

Arsenal lost three points to Aston Villa with 3 goals to nothing, which made Arteta describe his side’s defeat as the worst of his managerial career.

According to the reports, the Arsenal supporter identified as Richie rang into BBC 5 Live Sport to vent after his team defeat at home.

He said: “Mikel Arteta has to go tonight and we need to use the international break to bring in Max Allegri or Mauricio Pochettino.

“I’ve run out of patience and I think I speak for a lot of Arsenal fans when I say that.

“I was never convinced in him in the first place. There’s a big difference to putting out the cones at Man City’s training ground and managing Arsenal.

”He should have done what Lampard or Gerrard did. That’s manage at a smaller club, cut their feet, and maybe come back in a few years. It’s too big of a step up for him.

“He won the FA Cup but that papered over a lot of cracks. He brought us up one place [last season].
