Capitec Bank Holdings Limited (Capitec) is a listed and registered bank-controlling company. Its main operating, wholly owned subsidiary is Capitec Bank Limited, a registered bank, regulated by the South African Reserve Bank. In addition, Capitec holds 75% in Key Distributors (Pty) Ltd, a fast moving consumer goods distributor. Capitec is owned by a range of shareholders, the biggest of which is PSG Group Limited at 34.9%, board and senior management at 26% and a range of other shareholders.
