Testimonials

Peet van Aardt - News24 Voices Editor

"Ace Moloi joined our News24 opinion family in April, 2013, and since then he has contributed significantly to the continuous growth of the blogging site through his well-written, insightful and provoking articles around different topics.
He is one of our young writers and brings with him excellent writing skills and understanding of issues.
We have not interacted personally, but his online presence has struck me and reflects him as a responsible ambassador of his very own personal brand. On Twitter, Facebook and his articles on the News24 Voices site, his online personality remains consistent in portraying him as a young person passionate about the affairs of his country.
The feedback he receives from his articles proves how thought provoking his writings are.
I therefore believe that Ace Moloi has what it takes to be considered for any job opportunity.
" - 2014

Laura Czerniewicz - Associate Professor, University of Cape Town

"I know Ace Moloi through a research project I undertook in 2011 when he was a first year student. He volunteered to be part of a group of students who were prepared to record and report on their experiences with technology, and thus their development of digital and related academic literacies. He was an enthusiastic, helpful and diligent participant in the project who went way beyond the normal requirements of the project. His intelligence, articulate observations and astute insights were of enormous value to the research as a whole. He contributed both to the small group of which he was a part at his own university as well as the broader group of students from several South African universities who made up the broader project. It was as a result of his contribution to the project that Ace was selected as the sole student from Free State University to attend a digital story workshop in Cape Town; here he once again, showed his capacity for learning fast and contributing generously.
Because Ace had contributed so extensively to the project, and because his accounts showed such fine examples of determination and self-reflection, we decided (with his permission) to write up his story under a pseudonym- see Czerniewicz, L and Brown, C (2014) The habitus and technological practices of rural students: a case study, in South African Journal of Education, Vol 34, No 1 (2014) at http://www.sajournalofeducation.co.za/index.php/saje/article/view/789
Ace Moloi is an impressive young man who will go far in life. I have no hesitation in recommending him for any job opportunity; he deserves every success.
Best wishes.
