Anton Lubowski is a Namibian Lawyer. He was a member of SWAPO (South West Africa People's Organisation) and fought for an independant Namibia. He was heavily involved in the election campaign for the independence of Namibia. Mr Lubowski was assassinated on 12th September 1989 and was the first white person to be buried in a graveyard in Katurtura, the black, working class township of Windhoek.
