PROFESSIONAL STATUS


Once you've updated your professional profile and recorded your career details and academic history and professional highlights to date, you'll take your profile to the next level and earn yourself Professional status.

NOTEWORTHY STATUS


If you're a distinguished professional, and you've updated your profile to reflect your career successes and included details of your personal, social and business achievements you'll receive Noteworthy status.

WHO'S WHO STATUS


If you stand out in your field of expertise and have significantly contributed to the Southern African social, cultural, political or economic landscape, and updated your profile accordingly, you'll be awarded Who's Who status.

Overall ranking:

Your overall rank lets you know your profile's position amongst all other profiles which also hold the Complete badge.

Company:

Your country rank compares your profile to all other complete profiles that have a position in the same company with the latest date of appointment.

City:

Your city rank measures your profile against all complete profiles containing entries from the same city of birth.

Country:

Your county rank determines your standing amongst other complete profiles with the same country of birth.

Industry:

Your industry rank establishes how your profile compares against those of others with a position in the same industry as that of the position with the latest date of appointment.

Academic

ACADEMIC

If you have completed various qualifications, degrees, diplomas and certificates, you will be eligible for the Academic badge. Receive a bronze badge if you have over 5 qualifications, a silver badge if you list over 10 qualifications and a gold badge when you have over 20 qualifications.
Accomplished

ACCOMPLISHED

Include multiple entries in your professional positions and you'll be eligible for the Accomplished badge. Earn a bronze badge if you list five undertakings, a silver badge if you list ten undertakings and a gold badge if you list twenty undertakings in your professional portfolio.
Achiever

ACHIEVER

List at least ten achievements across at least three categories and you'll be eligible for the Achiever badge.
Allrounder

ALL-ROUNDER

If you have worked across three different industries within your career, you are eligible for the All-Rounder badge.
Associate

ASSOCIATE

If you're a member of various institutions, clubs and organisations, you could be eligible for the Associate badge.
Athlete

ATHLETE

List your participation/placement in professional events and be awarded with a bronze badge for five competitive events, a silver badge for ten competitive events and a gold badge for twenty competitive events.
Brainiac

BRAINIAC

If you have completed three under-graduate degrees and/or two post-graduate degrees you will definitely be eligible for the Brainiac badge.
Celebrity

CELEBRITY

You'll receive the popular Celebrity badge if you've been featured on Who's Who of Southern Africa for sporting, cultural, political or economic reasons.
Champion

CHAMPION

Record multiple first place entries in the competitive achievements category and you'll be eligible for the Champion badge. Five entries earn you a bronze badge, ten earn silver and twenty get you gold.
Complete

COMPLETE

Update your profile with your business address, profile picture, tagline, summary and a current position and you'll receive the Complete badge. Only profiles with the Complete badge are ranked, so be sure to fill in all the necessary details.
Connector

CONNECTOR

Develop a substantial network of contacts on Who's Who and you'll become eligible for the Connector badge.
Enthusiast

ENTHUSIAST

If you are regularly active on the site, then you're eligible for the Enthusiast badge. Keep it up, as you could lose it.
Influencer

INFLUENCER

You're eligible for the Influencer badge if you've encouraged people to join you on the site and promoted your Who's Who profile on your social networks.
Leader

LEADER

Include three or more executive positions held by you in the professional details section of your profile, you'll be eligible for the Leader badge.
Networker

NETWORKER

If you have over 200 Twitter followers, 200 Facebook friends and 60 LinkedIn contacts, and have integrated these networks with your profile, then you'll be awarded the Networker badge.
Newsmaker

NEWSMAKER

If your name is linked in over ten stories published on our integrated news platforms you'll receive the Newsmaker badge. You're also welcome to send links to any online articles about yourself, which appear on reputable local news networks, to our Content team who will upload validated articles on your behalf.
Philanthropist

PHILANTHROPIST

If you're a member, patron or volunteer at a number of worthy organisations, then you're eligible for the Philanthropist badge.
Pioneer

PIONEER

If your profile ranks in the top 10% rank in your industry you'll be rewarded with the Pioneer badge.
Promoter

PROMOTER

Sharing, posting and tweeting commendable Who's Who profiles on Facebook and Twitter will ensure your eligibility for the promoter badge.
Roamer

ROAMER

Download the Who's Who of Southern Africa's iPhone or iPad app to your device and make use of it on a regular basis, and you'll be eligible for the Roamer badge.
Scholar

SCHOLAR

If you're studying while working regularly, then you are eligible for the Scholar badge.
Tomorrow's Leader Nominee 2013

TOMORROW'S LEADER NOMINEE

If you've been nominated by your peers as a candidate for the Tomorrow's Leaders Convention honour, you'll receive this badge.
Veteran

VETERAN

If you can boast more than 15 years experience in a specific industry, you'll receive the Veteran badge.
Workaholic

WORKAHOLIC

If you hold three or more current positions, you'll receive the Workaholic badge. But if you become work shy, this badge will be lost.
