Carl Niehaus

Former Spokesman for Nelson Mandela


Born 25-12-1959 in North West Province

Carl Niehaus is a South African Politician. He is the former spokesman for South African ruling party the African National Congress (ANC), former spokesman for Nelson Mandela. In August 1983 Carl was arrested for ANC activities. Carl was convicted of High treason and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment. He was released in March 1991.
