My strategic role is to direct, guide and actualize the SAPTA vision of instilling, fostering and quality assuring a culture of professionalism amongst occupational trainers and to be the custodian of the rights, interests and needs of trainers.

Furthermore, my role as Vice President entails the establishment of a governance framework/structure and principles inclusive of the SAPTA Constitution and Code of Ethics. I’ve been instrumental in devising the Professional Trainers Body of Competence (PTBoC) and through a social media strategy, creating awareness of and building of the SAPTA brand.
