Testimonials
Gavin Hill Dimension Data
"I only every see you at your best Col! The times that come to mind are the brief glimpses I've had into your mind and heart. Your conversation swings effortlessly from intelligent wit to heartfelt and thoughtful to insightful and empathic. You’re neither predictable nor boring. I've seen you at your best being a mother, a host and a close friend. There’s no specific event or time, it seems more a function of your state of mind an demeanor than anything else. You have an ability to interact and blend in with people in almost any situation without compromising your own identity. I would venture to say you seem more at ease and therefore at your best when in a smaller, closer group of friends that you trust and enjoy. You tend to be better when the conversation turns to Freud rather than frivolity, but perhaps that’s just a function of how I perceive you rather than how you really are." - 2009

"Hi Coll
When you are working with fabrics or your patterns you have a confidence and sureness about what you are doing also, when you speak about your goddess work you really shine there.
Your passion is not only for your own journey but in helping others explore and understand theirs and you do this with so much love, gentleness and compassion. I have seen you in these situations more than once.
" - 2009
Lyn Collie
"Hi Coll
I think you interact with people wonderfully both in a social context where you're a great conversationalist with a fabulous sense of humour and infectious laugh, and when you're doing personal development work.
I loved watching you sewing when I visited you last time - always great to watch someone who's good at something do it. I also enjoyed the enjoyment you took from working skilfully.
Other specific examples are how you've helped me hold myself together any number of times :-) You're really vibrant, loving, warm, and sincere, have fantastic listening / observation skills and are exceptionally insightful. In fact your perspective on so many things and insights into people and happenings, often amaze me." - 2009
Shannon Barry New Zealand
"Hi Coll
There are many things that you say and do that have a magic shiny quality to them. If I have to liken them to an event or specific time it would be at the Goddess workshops.
Your contribution - generosity of spirit, time, and skill always shines through. The care that you take with making and designing the props, setting up the different goddess props for each session. This is done with perfection and love – and I could feel your energy in each session.
You can be counted on, trusted, you show up and contribute in a huge way- whether it is with your amazing creations, physical help or just being there. Your energy is solid- even when you are in pain or going through stuff. My experience of you is that you are safe and dependable.
You are an excellent communicator and your command of the English language is quite amazing. You are able to describe things perfectly and you are also a good listener." - 2009
Lisa Kinnear
"Hi Coll
I remember very clearly seeing you at one of your best: It was in one of the group workshops with Dr Suzan Hojdar – firstly you were listening to the group, with intense concentration, care and compassion. When you spoke and expressed your insights and understanding of your situation and theirs, I remember being so inspired by the way you had understood them and the meaning behind the words they were using and how you were able to express yourself and your feelings so clearly and creatively - in rich and colourful language full of symbols and images. I guess that’s how I experience our interactions one on one, but in a group it was really impressive. Also, you exuded warmth and love – there was a generosity in the way you shared of yourself and yet in no way did it feel narcissistic or self-indulgent. You acknowledged others and gave of yourself at the same time. But equally when it was appropriate you were able to bring a lightness and laughter into the conversation so that you were able to lift the mood from remaining too intense and too heavy. " - 2009
Shan Nell, Business owner.
"I wanted to say thanks for your thoughts regarding the classes and thanks for the notes, I appreciate it. It has truly been such a pleasure to attend these classes they have been in-valuable.
THANK YOU :-)" - 2010
Glenne Jeffrey, Jewellery Designer/clothing manufacturer.
"I just want to say how enlightening and EMPOWERING your sessions have been for me. Apart from the technical skills I have learned, the life skills I have absorbed are phenomenal,
and I do honestly believe the whole experience has been extremely pivotal in my life. And what an incredible networking opportunity! All of us in this industry face the same problems,
and I believe we have to look after each other and look out for each other and share with one another; we can only grow the industry - and ourselves - if we remember that.
Thanks again for a brilliant class (as always)." - 2010
Tina Backer, independent CMT factory
"I gained invaluable info from the classes, in a very practical way, for example the snippet about grain deflection for laying and cutting is extremely useful." - 2010
