‘RIGHT TIME TO CALL IT A DAY’

“Kingsmead was my home for 10 years and the memories that I have made with the players and coaches will never be forgotten,” the 35-year-old said.

“I learnt so much from my time here and have made strong bonds with the people that make up the KZN Cricket Union.

“I had a long think about it and thought that it was the right time for me to call it a day.

“I’ve had a great career and played for my country; a lot of people can’t say that so I have been very blessed as a cricketer.

“Taking on coaching is an opportunity for me to give back to the game that I love and to see kids grow as cricketers is something that drives my passion for cricket and for coaching.

“I would like to thank my wife Carlynne and my three boys for all the love and support they have given me over my career,” he added.
