Since 2011 September, Dr Ncango has been appointed by the Agricultural Research Council Institute for Tropical and Subtropical Crops (ARC-ITSC) in Nelspruit Mpumalanga in the running of the Post Entry Quarantine (PEQ) of the Citrus Improvements Program (CIP). He is a trained Microbiologist by profession. Currently a plant pathologist working mainly on Graft Transmissible Disease in the Citrus Industry and Avocado Sunblotch Viroid Disease in the Avocado industry.
