Dominic Fry

Regional Director of Revenue Management

Currently resides in: Gauteng, South Africa

Born 13-10-1976 in Johannesburg South Africa

I am a simple, down to earth, enthusiastic and self aware guy. An expert in hotel operations, revenue management, distribution channels, business intelligence, process design, strategic thinking and root cause analysis across most layers of an organization.

I continuously challenge the status quo, and am always stretching the limits of possibility for me and my teams. I am a coach and a mentor.

I offer my personal time, money and ability where I can in my local and extended communities. Examples of this include self sustaining gardens, community cleanups, drug and alcohol addiction awareness, and regular donations to worthy causes such as UNICEF.

As a revenue professional I implement, monitor, measure and control effective strategies to drive profits and market share premiums by ensuring our products are sold at the right time, for the right price to the right customer through the right channels.

I have worked my way up from the (very) bottom, and understand completely how any decision I take can affect the organization as a whole, but also the smaller units of the organization.

- I operate from High Potential thinking

- I take risks: quantified wherever possible, and always qualified

- I know what I know, and will ask if I don't...I might ask twice, but never thrice

- I strive for hard-work, doing more than I have to and always try to be humble

- I have ideas. Many, many ideas and I think big. BIG.

- I prefer time to think to formulate best responses, but can think quickly if needed

- Conceptual thinking is my biggest skill according to Emergetics Assessments, followed by Analytical

Connect with me, I love chatting and getting to know new people and organizations and ways of thinking. Challenge me.

67 Minutes for Mandela

Community Cleanup Volunteer (CSI and personal), June 2012 - June 2014

"Mr Mandela has spent 67 years making the world a better place. We're asking you for 67 minutes."

Nelson Mandela's birthday is on 18 July, and the call is out for people everywhere to celebrate his birthday by acting on the idea that each person has the power to change the world. The idea of Mandela Day was inspired by Nelson Mandela at his 90th birthday celebrations in London’s Hyde Park in 2008 when he said: "It is time for new hands to lift the burdens. It is in your hands now."
The United Nations officially declared 18 July as Nelson Mandela International Day in November 2009, recognising Mandela’s "values and his dedication to the service of humanity" and acknowledging his contribution "to the struggle for democracy internationally and the promotion of a culture of peace throughout the world".

Our focus is on creating an environment incorporating both a spiritual connection as well as a connection to the inner self. Recovery from Compulsive/Addictive behaviour is a life long process and our vision is to provide a comprehensive platform for both recovering addicts and their families in which to establish a guide to dealing with the effects of this life threatening disease.
