Job Description

Monitor the distribution network in the assigned markets :

  • Assist the distribution partners, help them grow, set up yearly account plan, run consistent working meetings & visits to the different locations of the distributors,
  •  Provide information on product, on pricing, on supply chain, on payment terms and on after sales service to the distributor.
  • Evaluate performance of current distributors, follow up monthly sales by product line, margin and assess opportunities for new distributors in the assigned markets. Drive potential creation of sub dealer network and monitor it as well.
  • Responsible for setting up and driving new distribution partners.
  • Provide training on products and processes to the distributors teams
  • Run joined meetings with architects, builders, investors, consultants with the distributors teams
  • Run promotional activities, events, specific trade show with the distributors in cooperation with the marketing team
  • Conduct warehouse inspection on stock inventory, quality of products, of storage, of processes

 

Establish and maintain contacts with local architects, designers, developers and builders.

  • Set up and follow up a database of key companies and key people to visit
  • Set up consistent appointments and address all opportunities to promote the brand and products.
  • Pull the business towards our brand and our distributors

 

Establish contacts with key investors in the assigned markets

  • Create and maintain a database on the top key developers in the assigned markets (public and private)
  • Make sure these people gets the latest communication tools of company
  • Maintain relationship to these people

 

 

 

Drive profitable growth in

  • Updating consistently the presence of the company in the show rooms
  • Expanding the presence of company in the markets
  • Providing to our distributors the adequate quotations and sales support on projects to grow and achieve profitability target
  • Following up quotations to achieve high conversation rate on project with builders, consultants and investors

 

Provide market knowledge on the assigned territories:

  • Provide to commercial director all information relative to our competitors (product, prices, communication tools, promotions…)
  • Assess distribution & organization from our competitors
  • Give feedback on product / communication tools / quality of the company’s products from customers, end users, architects, consultants, investors
  • Give info on market trends in construction, hospitality business…
  • Know the assigned markets, be the expert on all points relative to the key players and key decision makers

 

Participate with the team

  • To financial plan workshops
  • To strategic plan workshops
  • To trade shows, events, convention
  • To working meetings

 

 

Relationships and contracts

  • Internal Business Relationships:
  • The customer service department, currently located in South Africa
  • The marketing department of SSA and Corporate located in South Africa
  • The finance department of SSA located in South Africa
  • The supply chain department of SSA located in South Africa
  • The quality department, currently located in India
  • The technical service department, currently located in India and South Africa.

 

External Business Relationships

  • Distributors teams (marketing, purchasing, show room, selling team, supply chain, credit, manager, owner)
  • Key consultants, architects, designers, builders and contractors
