Gerhard Du Plessis

Pretoria-based Learning Strategist and Innovator

Born in Germiston South Africa

I have extensive experience in the public higher education sector as education innovator through various roles, including specialist education consultant, consultant group manager, specialist HE Researcher, HE research group manager, and education innovation projects manager. This is supported with substantial business acumen and experience in freelance consultation.

I have excellent people skills and consider myself as a visionary leader, influencer, keen on the bigger picture, change agent, ideas person, networker, and systems thinker.

I aspire to engage at the level of senior, or executive management of private teaching intensive HE institutions, and would also appreciate the opportunity to plough back my experience on national structures responsible for higher education.
