I am a member of the Board Services Practice and Executive Assessment Solutions of Stanton Chase. Over the past years of crisis, it is increasingly evident that we need a new kind of business leader in the twenty-first century. The interesting thing that stood out from all the interviews in the second book of Bill George (2007) was not the leader’s characteristics or their traits or their particular style. These people did not identify any universal characteristics, traits, skills, or styles that led to their success. Rather, their leadership emerged from their life stories. What stood out was their life story, because that became like a tape playing in their head and gave them the power and the passion to step up and lead.

Dan Swift, business consultant

"I remember Gerrien’s contribution on the worldwide Oracle Apps rollout at Reader’s Digest. She was in charge of global change management as I was setting up the new Oracle center of excellence. Gerrien was instrumental in securing the bond between my team of KPMG change agents and Reader’s Digest process owners, rapidly turning around the whole situation by making process owners the #1 change agents. Gerrien is a keen professional with a rare mix of business drive and people skills. She was a pleasure to work with" - 2012

Gordon Nasta, Managing Director at Accenture, SPL-Human Services for H&PS North America

"Gerrien took on the critical role of Director for Program and Project Management within the GCSC. Her exceptional people skills allowed us to make continued progress during this global collaboration on the Traction project. She helped facilitate and manage the completion of Solution Pathways during this complex effort to create modular, component, client-driven solution offerings. In addition, she managed the integration of SMART Management ™ components in conjunction with the University of Calgary. Her professional attitude and presence also served us well in representing the GCSC at both the Americas and the European Program Management Solutions Councils." - 2013

Peter Strikwerda, projectmanager AGP

"I've worked with Gerrien for several months as a personal consultant for leadership development at ING. During this period I've experienced her being a very enthousiastic and inspiring person, whilst keeping an good balance between personal and company interests. (Which probably is the ultimate challenge concerning personal or leadership development within a company environment). I'd highly recommend Gerrien for both personal coaching as well as development and execution of management development programmes" - 2008

Oscar Monshouwer, Vice-President at Rabobank/De Lage Landen

"Gerrien was a very well performing senior interim management development manager within ING/Nationale-Nederlanden. I can recommend her because of her influencing power at top level, her personal contact skills and her drive to get results. It's worthwile taking her into account for future cooperation.
" - 2010

Vincent Dolfin

"Gerrien has an open attitude that comforts you right from the start. Her analytical/observer skills are highly developed and add to the coaching experience to provide very focused insights. Good listener, but also has a clear way of expressing and recommending. Furthermore she brings coaching towards a direct and practical advice that helps to take the next steps forward." - 2009
