Haddad muwonge

haddad muwonge

Nickname: 'haddad'

Founder World Aid Support Organization & WDP

Born 23-10-1992 in Johannesburg South Africa

My name is Dr Haddad Muwonge. Since my childhood my passion has always been to lift up the down cast, the old and the vulnerable. This has over the years developed into a deep desire to serve humanity. I have been involved in spearheading efforts to raise orphans and vulnerable children, protect the abused and to provide guidance and direction to the youth of Uganda.

I have initiated programmes for the marginalized such as helping the world children's to grow enough food for their communities, launched Safe Childhood Programmes World wide, provided Micro-Credit for Children in Johannesburg and Kampala, provided guidance and counseling clinics for youth dealing with HIV/AIDS through our abstinence programmes. All the above have been founded on this passion to serve.

In response, I launched an organization that helped to take care of these orphans and supported grand mothers to fill the family gaps left by their departed children, who were dying of HIV/AIDS.

In all my organizations, it is this attitude that I have promoted and would like to pass on to the next generation.

I am grateful to God for the life he has given us and for returning our world to a path of restoration and growth. The path that promotes humanity and I am optimistic about the future. Please join me on this path to serve and care for humanity and to create an enabling environment for the next generation.

Our priority is the voice of the needy.

Education
I believe that my experiences as an undergraduate at the University of Johannesburg are what have most prepared me to become a successful Political science student.

As I adjusted to life at the University of Johannesburg, I quickly became a leader within my fraternity. Shortly after initiation, I held one elected office, Chairman at World Aid Support Organization (waso), positions that allowed me to serve on the fraternity’s Executive Board. Holding offices within the fraternity helped me to develop as a leader and taught me how important it is to recognize both my strengths and weaknesses when working within a large group. Although I made the Dean’s List, I realized at the end of my first two years in college that I was not performing up to my true academic potential. Consequently, I returned to Boulder at the beginning of my junior year with a new, energetic focus toward my studies. This change in perspective was minor, however, in comparison with the impact of what happened next.
