Cape Town Office, Westlake Business Park     PAID OFFICE   
Job description
Role: Generate sales income
Responsible for: Converting sales ready leads to bookings 
Daily responsibilities includes:
Inspiring people to book onto a GVI program
Closing the sale to ensure GVI programs have enough participants to run
Preparing participants for their departure
Liaising with the field staff for project updates
Handling general enquiries by phone and email
Answering telephones
Replying to emails and general enquires
Having a wide knowledge base of GVI's programs and locations
Ensuring all participants are paid up on time and all documents are recieved
Rota based Emergency phone duties (includes weekends) 
KPI's for this role include:
Response time to Leads
Quality of support provided
High response rates to call pick up
Email & Live Chat response time
Application to booking conversion
% Upsell of internships
Applications sent per week 
Demonstrate the GVI core values
Passionate about our mission
Industry experience
Experience volunteering or working for GVI
Fluency in spoken and written English
Minimum of 18 years old
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Computer literate
Exceptional phone manner
Passion for travel
Administrative or Office experience
Experience in a sales role
Reports to: Sales Team Manager
