I am highly qualified senior business executive. My two decades of experience has seen me work for a range of companies in the FMCG, banking, logistics, retail and service industries. My business focus has been on strategic execution and the growth, turnaround and refocusing of business units and companies. I serve on the faculty advisory boards of the Department of Industrial Engineering & Systems at the University of Pretoria and the Enterprise Resource Planning Centre of IIMB. My current teaching and research interests are associated with technology, in particular the adoption of technology in emerging markets, and the role it can play in growing these economies and alleviating poverty at the bottom of the economic pyramid.
