After many years of work in the field of communication in the ecumenical environment (Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation; Botswana Christian Council; World Council of Churches; Diakonia Council of Churches), I ventured into higher education management in various positions at the following South African universities: Fort Hare, the North, Technikon SA and UNISA. I entered full time politics in 2009 following my election as a Member of Parliament for the official opposition party, The Democratic Alliance
