Currently I am in the process of setting up and running the PMO office for The Aveng Group (Group IT).
Having Used SharePoint I designed and built an application with workflows that allows for the requesting, analysing and approving of projects. The system also allows for the sorting and prioritising of projects.
The application also controls the project management process such as “Scope document creation with approvals, Change Control Requests, Project Status Reports, Risk and Issue logs, UAT assignments, Project Closure and Lessons Learned Register”. The system updates the project register and a project dashboard.
