Born in Bulawayo Zimbabwe

Lenox Mhlanga's African name is Lizwi which in the Nguni language means voice. True to this name that he was given by his grandfather, he has been in the communications field from an early age. Growing up in his native Zimbabwe, right from junior school up to university, he has been a writer, a vocation that blossomed as a teacher contributing to a local newspaper. This led him into broadcasting and eventually public relations. He is a columnist and blogger and will be soon be publishing a collection of his work. A much sought after public and motivational speaker, Lenox is also a socio-political commentator on Zimbabwe, the region and Africa and has been featured on the BBC, SABC and online radio stations such as Studio 7 (VOA) and SW Radio Africa. His experience in the public, private and civic sectors makes him an informed speaker on many issues, particularly in the area of communications, leadership and management advancement as well as entrepreneurship and development issues.
