Carl Winckler

Heinz is a singer, songwriter and recording artist at Heinz Winckler Promotions (Pty) Limited in Johannesburg. In 2002 his single, 'Once In A Lifetime' reached double platinum status. He was the winner of the first series of Idols in South Africa in 2002. He performed 'Chasing Shadows', the theme song for the Disney movie Treasure Planet in 2002. He was voted Number 33 in the Heat Magazine Top 100 for 2007.

Anke Pietrangeli

Anke Pietrangeli is a South African singer. She won the second season of Idols in South Africa in 2003. Her nickname during the show was'The Kimberley Diamond', in reference to her home town.

Karin Kortje

Karin Kortje is a South African singer and winner of the third season of the M-Net reality television competition Idols, in 2005. She was the most popular contestant during the entire Idols season three.In her home town of Grabouw, South Africa, Karin was also part of a local band, called the Elgin Aires Dance Band, which is known for their “lang-arm” type music. She is sometimes referred to the Aretha Franklin of South Africa.
