Ntsundeni Louis Mapatagane is a dynamic Environmental Sciences graduate with more than 5 years of experience as a Researcher/Business Analyst contributing to rigorous analysis of actionable information which has been structured analytically and contextually in order to measure organisational performance against strategic and operational targets and thereby to support management, decision-making and planning and, in particular, the attainment of organisational goals and effectiveness as juxtaposed against the external environment, global trends and international benchmarks. Before joining UNIZULU; He was the coordinator of a student success grant awarded to Wits University which will help the university to build capacity to use data to better integrate institutional research, information communication technology, academic development, student services and academic departments. In his new role at UNIZULU, he leads a flagship project which is aimed at putting in place a coordinated structure to support the institution-wide integration of data collection and analysis focusing on student success. He writes and speaks publicly about the subject; including participation in Annual Teaching and Learning Higher Education Conferences, SAAIR Conferences, Achieving the Dream (DREAM) Conferences and Siyaphumelela Conferences. In 2016; he was nominated and elected to a 5-year term to be an Executive member of the Southern African Association for Institutional Research (SAAIR) - a dynamic association with the vision of promoting institutional research, training and development, and the exchange of information in the context of an effective Institutional Research unit in each institution of higher education. He is a Founder and Managing Director of Grandeur Consultancy; Grandeur Consultancy offers a list of services for business owners and NPOs to choose from, depending on their particular business needs. This includes; business and marketing plan preparation, financial search and procurement, market research analysis, strategy development, operational management planning and etc. Grandeur Consultancy also works with organisations in developing a company-wide sustainability plan.
