I was educated at the SA College School (S.A.C.S) where I obtained a pass with university exemption. Being an achiever in a previously disadvantaged community, I was invited to study at S.A.C.S by the inspirational wife of a leading Cape Town businessman who took a keen interest in my development. I took the opportunity enthusiastically at the age of thirteen and went on to become a school prefect during my matriculation year in 1997.
I pride myself on being a dynamic and well-organised young gentleman with a passion for sports (coaching), mentoring and marketing in particular.

I started working in the marketing field and a team leader looking after activations in the Western Cape for a Johannesburg based company, Minanawe Marketing in 2010. I then moved to Johannesburg to work as an Account Manager on the Client Services side for a year where I worked with companies such as Unilever, Parmalat, Nestle, Herdbuoys, PSI to mention a few and did extensive work promoting brands at schools under The Department of Basic Education’s banner and communities around South Africa. I also was the Project Manager in charge during the relaunch of the Trust Condoms brand which took place in South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland. I also have Event Management skills, having managed various dinners for the likes of Van Ryn and the ANC Caucus in Cape Town during my time as an Account Executive at Alpha Communications between 2008 and 2009. I moved back to Cape Town to oversee activities in the Western Cape as a Regional Manager for Minanawe Marketing in April of 2013.

In January of 2014 I joined Plastic Soldiers looking after the Social Media/Community around the Varsity Cup and Varsity Sports Brands and trying to promote Mass Brands as prefered service supplier in the Mass Market.

I see myself as a Social Entrepreneur who has a passion for marketing different Brands and Sports and someone who has gained a lot of knowledge about the economics of our Townships.
