Nondumiso Tembe

South African born Singer and Actress

Nondumiso Tembe is a South African born singer, songwriter, dancer, choreographer and writer. She has acted in various screenplays, including the title role in the South African production of “Annie,” a performance that lead her to be the first black actress to lead a multi-racial cast in a major theatrical production in post-Apartheid South Africa. She also played the role of Maria and Thobile in original South African musicals “Leopard Skin” and “Mata-Mata”. In 2011 she was cast in the popular HBO vampire drama, "True Blood".
