Omar Essack is the Executive Director of Kagiso Media Limited (Broadcasting) since, 2006. He started his career in professional commercial radio two. He made a name for himself in radio management at East Coast Radio where he was appointed Managing Director in June 1998. The accomplishment that he is most proud of, though, is the turnaround of East Coast Radio from a station with an all-White audience to a cosmopolitan station reflecting the diverse South African nation.
