During my time in the Western Cape i assisted in raising funds to have the provincial event occur in the Western Cape.

Started Free financial literacy Course for high school learners | 2016

One of my core beliefs is that in order for economic freedom to be achieved, people must be exposed to financial knowledge at a young age. I believe my life would have been much better growing up had my parents been fully financially literate. Many other South African children live under this reality and potentially can have their futures prisoners of it, so we started a financial literacy course in Rustenberg, we collect young learners from local high schools and teach them different tools that they can use to develop their personal financial health.

Economic transformation will be difficult to achieve in South Africa without their being any active steps to enable people of color to participate in the economy through the direct management and establishment of businesses by people of color. As a young professional I believe it is my duty to contribute to society in order to eradicate poverty, hence I am part of the BMF community.

Greenpeace

Activist, 2015 - present

As a person who views the world from an economics perspective I have realized that most of our economic theories do not take the environment as a serious variable when economic models are created. I believe that the environment is synonymous to economics and that economic modeling cannot be effective while ignoring the environment and thus I became a Greenpeace member and cyber-activist promoting environmental issues and challenging the current status quo of economic thought.
