Born 17-02-1951 in Beaufort West South Africa

Patricia de Lille is the Mayor of the City of Cape Town and the Western Cape Democratic Alliance Leader . She was the Founder and President of the Independent Democrats. De Lille was voted 22nd in the Top 100 Great South Africans and was the first South African woman to form a political party on her own. Patricia de Lille was elected as the Democratic Alliance's mayoral candidate for Cape Town in March 2011.
