Paul van Zyl is the Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ), an organisation that assists countries pursuing accountability for mass atriocity or human rights abuse ) since 2001. Paul van Zyl has acted as an adviser and consultant to human rights organisations, governments, international organisations and foundations on transitional justice issues in numerous countries. He was titled as one of New York's "Top 15 Lawyers Under 40 " by New York Lawyer Magazine.
