The organization's main purpose is helping the community with health associated issues, from providing home based care for all people who are sick in their homes, providing food for the needy(Soup Kitchen) ,coordinate yearly events for orphans and it also has a support group for drug addicts and alcoholics.

Durban Youth Fashion Week

The Durban Youth Fashion Week™, organized by GQL Productions in association with Dooban Productions, is a semi-annual fashion event that promotes up-and-coming fashion designers of the Durban and Kwa-Zulu Natal region (also includes invited designers from Joburg and Cape Town). The inaugural event will feature up-and-coming fashion designers from leading fashion institutes and young fashion designers who own their private fashion labels and this two day affair will feature Autumn/Winter 2012 ready-to-wear collections.

The DYFW Autumn/Winter Collections fashion shows will take place on the 28th and 29th of April 2012 and the event will attract more than a thousand people from all over the country including celebrities, fashionstas, fashion editors, buyers, socialites, fashion industry professionals, and the press.
