Born in Visp, Canton Valais Switzerland

Sepp Blatter is the President of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). He started being active in the soccer world as the President of The Zurich Brown Shirts in 1973. Blatter became a Technical Director for FIFA from 1975 to 1981 and also the General Secretary from 1981 to 1998. During his election as President for FIFA it was rumoured that the Vice-President of the Confederation of African Football and the President of the Somali Football Federation, were claimed to have been offered 100,000 U.S. dollars to vote for Blatter in 1998.
