•Job mission: To sell products to customers and expand the market awareness of the Cell C brand, products and services, thus enhancing sales revenue by ensuring the agreed upon objectives and targets are met within the assigned base of bullets.

Sales and Marketing:

•Drive sales to meet and exceed sales targets within assigned time frames, channels, markets and geographical areas.
•Execute the sales and distribution policy in the field.
•Build and manage relationships at store level on continuous basis to maximise sales and brand awareness
•Conduct regular market research and compliance intelligence

Reason for leaving: Upon joining the company it was discovered that there were many insecurities that weren't told upfront. Staff members had been leaving and the permanency that was initially discussed did not come to pass. Management was not able to shed light and after holding out for a year I resigned to actively look for employment. This was highlighted in the exit interview.

Handling of all trading stores relating to the cell c calling in.
Was responsible for queries regarding Post Paid & Pre-paid Billing
Renewing and upgrading all contracts.
In instances where client contracts came to end or where the client was considering cancelling a contract, it was relevant to troubleshoot and establish why they would not renew the contract.
Upon establishing the problem with the client it was then necessary to come up with possible solutions to their problems and try to retain them.
Liaised with government and corporate accounts as well as SME's
Conducted sim-swaps as well as reconnecting lines
Made bookings for handset repairs
Was required to take 60 to 80 calls per day and each call limited to 5 minutes
Adhered as much as possible to the 1st call resolution i.e. 90% of queries had to be resolved with the first call.
Ensured all processes that a customer services agent applies are always remembered and applied where possible.

Reason for leaving: Unforeseen retrenchment - The entire staff both permanent and temps were retrenched with immediate effect. All business for that branch was transferred to the Durban branch.

Ensured that clients were fully aware of what the contract entailed before they committed to sign on the dotted line.

Reason for leaving: After giving good service to a customer who happened to have a senior role in the Cell C Contact Centre (Emmanuel's Project Manager), I was approached with an opportunity to represent Cell C in a different area.
