STAN MOTIMELE IS A WELL KNOWN POLITICAL ACTIVIST FROM POLOKWANE IN LIMPOPO. HE HAS WORKED VERY HARD IN BUILDING BETTER COMMUNITIES WHERE HIS INPUTS BENEFITED SOUTH AFRICA TO BE A DEMOCRATICAL COUNTRY. MOTIMELE TOOK PART IN THE ARMED STRUGGLE DURING THE APARTHEID REGIME, WHERE AS TO HE WAS A MEMBER OF UMKHONTO WE SIZWE, A MILITARY WING OF THE AFRICAN NATIONAL CONGRESS OPPOSING THE OPPRESSING SYSTEM. HE WAS CONVICTED IN THE 80's AND SERVED HIS SENTENCE AT THE ROBBEN ISLAND PRISON ALONGSIDE NELSON MANDELA AND OTHERS. HE TOOK LEADERSHIP IN VARIOUS ORGANISATIONS LIKE ANC(AFRICAN NATIONAL CONGRESS) COSATU (CONGRESS OF SOUTH AFRICAN TRADE UNIONS), SACP (SOUTH AFRICAN COMMUNIST PARTY) AND CONTINUES TO DELIVER QUALITY SERVICES TO THE CITIZENS OF SOUTH AFRICA THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT'S STRUCTURES.
