Wizkid’s Made In Lagos Album which was released towards the end of October saw a different Wizzy as he tried new genres of music.

The Star Boy as he is popularly called by fans worked on the flaws from his previous albums; Sounds from the Other Side and Soundman Vol. 1.

Wizkid in Made in Lagos promoted culture and globalisation, peace, happiness, love, goodwill and grace. He also made the use of saxophones on Made in Lagos, a likely move to remember the late Afro beats legend, Fela Kuti.

Less than two weeks following the release of Made In Lagos, Davido also dropped an album full of tracks that will be hit songs for the remaining of the year as well as early  2021.

Davido came with a quite improved version of A Good Time album in the form of A Better Time Album.

With the dedication and time he put into the album, one can conclude Davido is all out to make hit tracks and it seems to be what his fans want as his recent album gathered over millions of streams within hours of its release.

A funny but interesting side from Wizkid’s and Davido’s album is that the duo decided to show off their sons. Wizkid featured his sons in his SMILE track featuring H.E.R while Davido used his son as a cover for his album, it is all nice.

Whether you are a fan of Wizkid or Davido, you need to realize that the two have taken Nigerian and African music to the world, which is all that matters.
