The Proteas and England cricket squads have trained at Newlands ahead of their T20 and ODI series’ starting later this month, albeit separately.

England arrived in the country earlier in the week and immediately underwent Covid-19 testing.
Thankfully, they returned a clean bill of health.
The Proteas weren’t so lucky.
One player tested positive while two others were placed in isolation having been in close contact with the player who tested positive.
England will continue their 10-day quarantine period at the Vineyard Hotel in Newlands ahead of the opening T20 on November 27.
The teams will play two more T20s at Boland Park in Paarl and back at Newlands for the decider.
Thereafter, the teams will do battle in a three-match ODI series with the first and third matches at Newlands and the second clash in Paarl.
