Australia have beaten the All Blacks in their Tri-Nations clash in Brisbane on Saturday.
The Wallabies won 24-22 after the sides were dead-locked 8-all at half-time.
Both sides were reduced to 14 men in the first half after straight red cards were shown to All Blacks prop Ofa Tu’ungafasi and Wallaby flank Lachlan Swinton for dangerous tackles.
While the All Blacks out-scored the Wallabies three tries to two, but it was the boot of flyhalf Reece Hodge who helped the Wallabies claim victory in a match which doubled as a ‘dead’ fourth and final Bledisloe Cup Test.
It was an impressive 7-day turnaround by Dave Rennie’s Wallabies who were hammered 43-5 last weekend.
The Wallabies picked up four points for their win, while the All Blacks picked up a single point for losing by seven or fewer points.
In next weekend’s Tri-Nations action, the All Blacks take on Argentina at Bankwest Stadium in Sydney, while the Wallabies have a bye.
