Kaizer Chiefs have been alerted that their fixture against Cameroon PWD Bamenda faces a possible late postponement.

Chiefs were scheduled to face Bamenda on Friday at 18:00.

KAIZER CHIEFS WON THE FIRST LEG 1-0

However, the fixture is now at risk after the Cameroonian outfit wrote to the Confederation of African Football asking to have it rescheduled.

“Cameroonian side PWD Bamenda have requested through CAF a postponement of our CAF CL 2nd Leg Prelim match scheduled for tomorrow, Friday 4th December,” read a statement from Amakhosi.

Whether the request will be agreed to remains to be seen.

The reason for the request remains unconfirmed, but is apparently due to visa problems.

Bamenda, at the time of publishing, had not yet boarded a flight for South Africa.

Amakhosi will take a 1-0 lead into the tie – whenever it is played – having won the first leg 1-0 in Limbe last Sunday.
