Kaizer Chiefs news: Gavin Hunt close to reaching breaking point [Video]

There is only so much a man can take, and from the footage you’re about to see I think it’s safe to say that Kaizer Chiefs head coach Gavin Hunt is close to breaking point.

It’s no secret that Gavin Hunt’s Kaizer Chiefs have not been playing the best of football however, even when they do look brilliant, victory somehow eludes them in the most bizarre of circumstances.

Be it a transfer ban, unforgivable defensive errors by experienced Kaizer Chiefs players or shocking misses by some of the most clinical players around, things are simply just not going Gavin Hunt’s way and it’s beginning to take its toll on the four-time Absa Premiership winning coach.

Footage following the Amakhosi’s goalless draw against Primeiro de Agosto showed a completely shattered Gavin Hunt.

No end to Gavin Hunt’s woes

Kaizer Chiefs languish in 13th position of the DStv Premiership log after eight games. They were humiliated in the MTN8 by arch enemies Orlando Pirates and despite a decent performance in the CAF Champions League this evening, results aren’t going their way.

Be it in the goalkeeping department, defence, midfield or attack, Kaizer Chiefs have drastically underachieved so far this campaign and they just can’t seem to turn the corner. The dejected demeanor that Gavin Hunt portrayed following his side’s goalless draw this evening tells the story of an ongoing problem at Naturena, a consistent lack of luck.

Gavin Hunt and Kaizer Chiefs will now take a short but much needed break where many tough questions will be asked before returning back to action ahead of their return leg in Angola which is scheduled to take place on 06 January 2021. Hunt and millions of Amakhosi fans will be desperate for their side to turn things around immediately in the new year.
