Midfielders Siphesihle Mkhize and Musawenkosi Mdhuli have both put pen to paper on five-year contracts that will see the duo spend the foreseeable future at Chloorkop.

Mkhize is a defensive midfielder while Mdhuli is a more attacking option.

Both players are 21-years-old.

SUNDOWNS ISSUED A STATEMENT CONFIRMING THE NEWS

“Mkhize, who is also known as ‘Busquets’, spent last season on loan in the GladAfrica Championship with Ajax Cape Town and has been to the Youth World Cup,” Sundowns said in a statement.

Umlazi-born Mkhize was in the 18-man squad that faced Golden Arrows last weekend and is set to make his CAF Champions League debut on Tuesday off the bench when Sundowns take on Botswana side Jwaneng Galaxy at 15:30 SA time.

“Mdhluli played in the DSTV Diski Challenge and is an attacking midfielder, and has been a crucial member of the side and will be hoping to make his debut very soon,” the statement went on to state.
