Some good injury news at last for Kaizer Chiefs’ supporters

There was some good news for Kaizer Chiefs supporters ahead of their next DStv Premiership clash on Tuesday night.

Amakhosi have struggled greatly this campaign with injuries, but there was light at the end of the tunnel for at least one player in coach Gavin Hunt’s squad.

ZUMA HAS YET TO PLAY FOR CHIEFS THIS SEASON

Hunt confirmed the return of winger Dumisani Zuma in time for Chiefs’ clash against SuperSport United at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.

Kick-off is at 19:30 and the match will be broadcast LIVE on SuperSport channel 202.

Zuma has yet to feature for the Glamour Boys this season.

Hunt confirmed that he will have the squad squad to pick from that did duty against Black Leopards, with the additional of Zuma who is likely to be eased back into action off the substitutes’ bench.

“We will go into the match with the same squad that played against Black Leopards. Dumisani Zuma will return to the squad but we will see how it goes. We will perhaps bring him on during the match,” Hunt confirmed.

Chiefs are currently down in 12th place in the 16-team log after six matches with only six points.

Those six points have come via a single win, three draws and two defeats.

SuperSport United have fared a lot better to date.

In only five matches, they have already picked up nine log points and lie sixth in the standings.
