The controversial joint decision by referee AJ Jacobs and TMO Rasta Rasivhenge to give Bulls prop Jacques van Rooyen his marching orders against WP dominated social media during – and post-match.

Van Rooyen was sent from the field in the 47th minute, but rather than roll over, the Bulls mounted a stirring fightback with 14 men to beat the home side 22-20.
