DStv Premiership giants Mamelodi Sundowns have cruised to a comfortable 5-1 aggregate victory over Botswana side Jwaneng Galaxy in their first round CAF Champions League tie.
The Brazilians won the first leg in Botswana 2-0 and eased to a 3-1 win in Tuesday’s second leg at Loftus Versfeld.

Goals from Kermit Erasmus in the 39th minute, Mothobi Mvala in the 68th minute and Thapelo Morena in the 81st minute gave Steve Komphela’s side victory and a place in the last 16 playoffs.
Jwaneng Galaxy scored an 89th-minute consolation goal through striker Tebogo Sembowa.
Sundowns will next be in action in the DStv Premiership on Saturday, 9 January against Baroka FC.
That match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium will kick off at 15:00.
