Proteas legend Dale Steyn is keeping himself busy off the cricket field.

Steyn, who hold the records for the most wickets taken in Tests for South Africa (439) hasn’t played for the Proteas since February 2019, despite making himself available for selection for both the ODI and T20 formats.
Steyn retired from Test cricket in 2019.

A quick scroll through his Instagram account will show he’s a keen fisherman and won’t turn down a surf when the waves are cooking.
It now appears Steyn has discovered a new passion – skateboarding.
The now 37-year-old, who’s currently sporting longer locks than cricket fans will be accustomed to, looks to have skateboarding, um, waxed.

On Sunday, Dale Steyn was drafted as a ‘supplementary’ player in the upcoming Pakistan Super League, meaning he’s unlikely to see much action barring injuries to his Quetta Gladiators team-mates.

Steyn also earlier in 2021 confirmed he won’t be playing in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL).
