Trouble follows Thembinkosi Lorch

The latest incident comes barely a month after Lorch, who is the reigning PSL Player of the Season, landed in hot water for breaching COVID-19 safety protocols.

The Bafana star, along with Zambian teammate Justin Shonga, were disciplined by the club for their troubles.

Lorch was the first of the two players to be reinstated into the squad after pleading guilty to the charges brought against him by the Buccaneers and undergoing two coronavirus tests.

Orlando Pirates has pledged to be vocal against violence targetted at women and children, to serve as role models and protect those affected by violence.

“Like manners once did, violence is now shaping and obsessing our society. If we do not stop it, it will stop us, and our children will have a bleak future,” the club said.
