Themba Zwane, Samir Nurkovic, Peter Shalulile and Gaston Sirino will battle it out for the coveted 2019/20 PSL Footballer of the Season award.
The PSL revealed the full list of players nominated for top honours following the 2019/20 local football campaign on Thursday afternoon with a number of the league’s top performers making the cut.
Mamelodi Sundowns ace Themba Zwane alongside his Uruguayan teammate Gaston Sirino will be looking to crown their trophy laden season by grabbing the coveted Player of the Season award while their new teammate Peter Shalulile was rewarded for his goal scoring heroics out at Highlands Park as well.
Kaizer Chiefs marksman Samir Nurkovic completes the nominees list for the coveted award. As far as the Coach of the Season nominees goes, Champions Mamelodi Sundowns are once again well represented with their former head coach Pitso Mosimane being the favourite to bag the trophy once more.
Mosimane has stiff competition from the man he battled throughout the PSL season with, Kaizer Chiefs’ Ernst Middendorp while Maritzburg United’s Eric Tinkler completes the three-man nominee list.
