Lewis Hamilton has taken pole position for Sunday’s Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sakhir circuit.

Hamilton, who has already clinched a record-equaling seventh drivers’ title, will start ahead of his Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas, with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in third.
It was Mercedes’ 11th 1-2 in qualifying of the year and Hamilton’s 98th pole position of his career.
The Bahrain GP is the third-last race of the 2020 season.
The race will begin at 16:10 SA time on Sunday.
