The international break has concluded, with PSL fixtures taking centre stage in the coming weekend.
PSL fixtures on Saturday
The pick of the afternoon fixtures is the clash involving Kaizer Chiefs, who travel to Sugar Ray Xulu in Clermont for a clash against Golden Arrows.
Gavin Hunt’s men have had a rough start to the season, winning just once in their three matches which have yielded just one goal. They are up against an unbeaten Arrows side looking to maintain their spot at the top half of the standings.
Two more matches kick off at 15:30, with Stellenbosch welcoming Chippa United to Danie Craven Stadium, while the two bottom teams, Black Leopards and Maritzburg United are in search for their first points at Thohoyandou Stadium.
The evening kicks off with what is undoubtedly the biggest clash of the weekend as Orlando Pirates host Supersport United at Orlando Stadium.
The Buccaneers are yet to taste defeat across competitions this season and will look to stretch their winning streak to four matches against a side that has struggled for consistency.
Later on the night, Swallows and TS Galaxy renew rivalries in their first top-flight encounter at Dobsonville Stadium.
Fixtures on Sunday
There’s three more PSL fixtures scheduled for Sunday afternoon, with the defending champions also in action.
Mamelodi Sundowns host AmaZulu at Loftus Versfeld, as they look to consolidate their spot at the top of the standings.
Having only just survived relegation last season, Usuthu will look to steer clear of the red zone – where they spent the bulk of the previous campaign – and build on their victory from their last outing.
The in-form Baroka are also in action against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, while Cape Town City welcome Bloemfontein Celtic in the other fixture.
