We’ve witnessed many superb freekicks in football across the globe, however when a player scores from a position where it’s virtually impossible to score from, it’s all the more spectacular.
Orlando Pirates star Vincent Pule produced one such moment in the Absa Premiership last season. To crown it off, his stunning freekick from an extremely tight angle came against arch rivals Kaizer Chiefs in front of close to 90 000 spectators.
Argentine superstar Paulo Dybala mirrored Vincent Pule’s outrageous strike for Juventus in the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League against Atlético Madrid. Dybala thumped it home from a near impossible angle leaving arguably one of the best goalkeepers around, Jan Oblak, with no chance at all.
