The Proteas have switched gears and have begun preparing for their One-Day International (ODI) series against England starting on Friday, December 4.

A number of players have either been released from the squad to play in the 4-Day Domestic Series or simply afforded a well-earned rest.
In Kagiso Rabada’s case, however, he’s nursing an injury.
Pite van Biljon, Bjorn Fortuin and Reeza Hendricks will all turn out for their respective franchises in the next round of 4-Day Domestic Series matches.
Meanwhile, Faf du Plessis has been granted a break ahead of the Test series against Sri Lanka starting on Boxing Day.
