Proteas skipper Quinton de Kock has won the toss and elected to bat in the third and final T20 against England at Newlands.
LIVE | SOUTH AFRICA V ENGLAND, 3RD T20 AT NEWLANDS
Unfortunately for Proteas fans, the match is a ‘dead’ rubber after England took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series on Sunday in Paarl.
England won the first clash at Newlands by five wickets and then wrapped up the series at Boland Park, winning by four wickets.
The Proteas made two two changes to their team with Heinrich Klaasen and Kagiso Rabada missing out.
They were replaced by Pite van Biljon and Lutho Sipamla, respectively.
England, meanwhile, resisted the temptation to change their winning combination.
Following their T20 series, the sides will do battle in a three-match ODI series.
