It’s a chance to build some confidence heading into 2021 and, as ever in a tough league to predict, provides plenty of intrigue.
SUPERSPORT HOLD A WIN-RECORD OVER CHIEFS
Matsatsantsa are the only current top-flight team with a greater win-loss ratio than the AmaKhosi in DStv Premiership matches between the two sides.
They have met on 59 previous occasions in the league, with SuperSport recording 21 wins to Chiefs’ 20 with 18 clashes ending in draws.
The last four meetings since the start of the 2018/19 season have seen one win apiece and two draws, although it’s been almost a year since they last clashed with SuperSport claiming a 2-1 victory in their first game of 2020 on January 4.
Chiefs have not claimed an away win at SuperSport in any competition since September 2015 when George Lebese struck twice in a 4-1 success.
SUPERSPORT 6TH IN THE LOG, CHIEFS 12TH
Chiefs have just a single win in their last eight games in all competitions, a 1-0 away win at Cameroon side PWD Bamenda in the CAF Champions League.
Amakhosi lie 12th in the standings after six matches, while SuperSport United are sixth after just five fixtures this season.
The match will be screened LIVE on SuperSport channel 202 at 19:30.
